Alright, fellow pilgrims, strap in! I just emerged from the mind-bending, awe-inspiring expanse of Chapter 6 in Black Myth: Wukong, and let me tell you, it's like the game decided to swallow the entire concept of linear progression and spit out a universe. After that initial boss, Mount Huaguo unfolds like a celestial origami project, revealing a landscape so vast it makes the previous chapters feel like a tutorial. With my shiny new Somersault Cloud, I was zipping through the skies, but finding all 19 bosses? That was a quest in itself, a treasure hunt where the map was written in mountain ranges and the clues were whispered by the wind. I've braved them all, from the deceptive Poison Chiefs hiding in plain sight to the earth-shaking spectacle of the final Erlang showdown. Consider this your personal, painstakingly crafted guide to navigating this breathtaking, boss-filled finale.

🗺️ The Lay of the Land: Your Navigation Essential

First things first, you need a map. The open world of Chapter 6 is a beautiful, confusing beast. I relied heavily on a top-down view to make sense of it all. Think of the environment not as a level, but as a sprawling, living diorama where every cliff, lake, and forest clearing holds a secret.

This map was my bible. It details the location of bosses #1 through #14. The final epic encounters (#15-19) are on a different, more narrative-driven path.

🏔️ The Foothills Frenzy: Bosses #1-8

This is where your journey truly begins after unlocking flight.

1. The Supreme Inspector

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-1

Your welcome committee! From the chapter start, head to the "Verdant Path" Shrine. He's waiting in the clearing ahead. This fight is a brutal skill check—his attacks are like sudden summer storms, appearing out of a clear sky. His wing parries are frustrating, but aggression is key. Pro Tip: Immobilize + Charged Heavy Smash is your friend. In phase two, when he summons that flaming wheel, Cloud Step is your lifeline.

2. Jiao-Loong Of Waves

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-2

A breath of fresh, watery air after the Inspector. From his arena, use Somersault Cloud to cross the chasm under the giant chains and dive straight down into the lake below. He'll emerge. This guy is a pushover—low health, predictable. I melted him with A Flock Of Many and my Golden Lining Transformation.

3. Son Of Stones

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-3

Unmissable. A giant stone dude napping on a cliff edge overlooking the central waters. Fly above Jiao-Loong's lake, look away from the Inspector, and he's there. Poke his back to start. He's slow but hits like a continental drift. DO NOT use Immobilize—it's useless. Wait for his big lightning AOE attack, dodge, then punish him while he's catching his breath.

4-7. The Four Poison Chiefs

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-4

These guys are the masters of disguise, camouflaging themselves as parts of the landscape like chameleons made of granite. They're trickier than they look—their poison bombs hit like a truck. The strategy is hit-and-run. Don't get greedy!

  • Chief #1: From Jiao-Loong's lake, look left for a higher lake with a small island. He's by the shore.

  • Chief #2: Hidden in the forest to the right of the Supreme Inspector's area. Fly high over the lake, then over the peak to your right/rear to find a dirt clearing.

  • Chief #3: On the path from the Inspector area to the red tree forest (Deer Sight Forest). Look for a dirt clearing on your left.

  • Chief #4: Very near the "Deer Sight Forest" Shrine. Fly up and right from the shrine, over a gnarled tree on a rock, to find a grassy clearing.

8. Lang-Baw-Baw

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-5

The grand finale of the Tadpole quest! From Poison Chief #3's spot, turn right towards the end of the lake. He's in a dirt clearing against the cliff. This frog means business, especially with his stone skin form that turns your attacks into mere tickles. Strategy: Wait out the stone form (use your Transformation defensively), then unload with Immobilize combos when he's vulnerable. Defeating him (and all previous frogs) unlocks the game's only Mythical Spirit, Baw-Baw-Lang-Lang—absolutely worth it!

⚔️ The Armor Quest: Bosses #9-12

These four are mandatory to collect Sun Wukong's armor and reach the final boss.

9. Cloudtreading Deer

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-6

Head to those iconic red trees. Rest at the "Deer Sight Forest" Shrine first! Phase one is the real challenge here—those homing whirlwinds are more persistent than a telemarketer. Cloud Step is non-negotiable. Phase two swaps frost for poison, which is much more manageable.

10. Gold-Armored Rhino

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-7

Visible from the sky on the cliff next to Lang-Baw-Baw's arena. Rest at "Rhino Watch Slope" Shrine. This fight is a puzzle. His armor repels all attacks... unless you crack his horn. Charge a Heavy Attack to max focus and slam it on his head. The armor shatters, turning him into a piñata. Repeat 2-3 times. Use Immobilize to line up the perfect horn shot.

11. Feng-Tail General

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-8

The colossal beetle shaking the screen! Fastest route: spawn at "Mantis-Catching Swamp," turn around, and fly to the Water-Wood Beast lake's edge. This isn't a fight; it's a stamina/health skill-check puzzle.

  1. Land on its back with Somersault Cloud.

  2. Stamina Check: Hold the antennae during three jumps (~300 Stamina needed).

  3. Health Check: Hold again as flames burn you. CHEESE IT: Activate the Fireproof Mantle right before this check to take zero damage. Victory!

12. Emerald-Armed Mantis

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-9

Spawns only after defeating Deer, Rhino, and Beetle. Return to "Mantis-Catching Swamp" and talk to Zhu Bajie for a... unique fight inside his stomach! The Mantis loves long, deadly combos. Cloud Step or Rock Solid are perfect for breaking his rhythm. Use your Transformation if you're in a pinch, but this fight feels fair after the earlier gauntlet.

🐉 The Hidden Titans & Final Gauntlet: Bosses #13-19

13. Water-Wood Beast

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-10

The real one is in the lake behind the "Mantis-Catching Swamp" Shrine (look for bubbles). This hippo hits hard, especially underwater. Stick to his back legs when he surfaces, use Immobilize, and whittle him down. His janky hitbox is the real boss here.

14. Giant Shigandang

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-11

The biggest boy in the game, hidden behind a collectible quest. You need the four Skandha items from previous chapters. Once you have them, from "Mantis-Catching Swamp," fly up the cliff and take the middle ravine path to a colossal arena. GET OFF YOUR CLOUD before his roar knocks you out of the sky! Fight smart: stay at the edge of its range, dodge shockwaves, and when it rests an arm, sprint in and smash the blue crystals for massive damage. Beating it gets you the final Skandha and a killer Celestial Pill from Xu Dog.

15-17. Erlang, The Sacred Divinity (& Phases)

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-12

The pinnacle. The secret ending. The fight that will test your soul. Unlocking him is a saga: collect the four Vessels, beat specific bosses across all chapters, then find him in Mount Mei. I fought him just before the final boss for the special ending cutscene.

  • Phase 1 (Erlang): The hardest part. He has poise, endless combos, and dodges your best moves. ESSENTIALS: Plantain Fan to break poise. Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top Spirit for safe poise damage. Flower Primes Soak in your Gourd to cure Shocked. Get the Jingubang staff first! Cloud Step is your best friend. If you Transform, he'll become a white tiger for one leap attack—dodge it!

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-13

  • Phase 2 (Four Heavenly Kings): The victory lap! It's chaotic but each hit does little damage. In your kaiju form, Heavy Attacks heal you. Pick them off one by one and enjoy the spectacle.

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-14

  • Phase 3 (Erlang Shen): He's back, matching your giant form. Hits harder, can stunlock. Pummel him, use Rock Solid, and HEAL WITH HEAVY ATTACKS. There's a scripted near-death moment—don't panic, you'll come back stronger. Defeat him for the legendary Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear.

18. Stone Monkey

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-15

The final boss, phase 1. After beating the four Armor bosses, from "Mantis-Catching Swamp," fly up the cliff, go left into Water Curtain Cave, get the Jingubang, and proceed to the "Birthstone" area. Phase 1 is straightforward. Phase 2 is chaos: he splits into fire and frost clones. DO NOT USE Immobilize—it triggers their worst attacks. Focus one down with Jingubang's 4-Focus Point slams. Save mana for phase two!

19. The Great Sage's Broken Shell

conquering-black-myth-wukong-s-final-frontier-my-epic-journey-through-chapter-6-s-19-bosses-image-16

You. Or a dark reflection. He uses all your tools against you. This fight is a brutal mirror match.

  • Key Tools: Plantain Fan to interrupt him. Cloud Step to disengage and heal. Wandering Wight Spirit for burst damage. Golden Lining Transformation for parries and dodges.

  • Watch Out: He'll steal and drink from your Gourd if you use it late in the fight, healing himself. He's tough, but if you've already beaten Erlang, this will feel like a triumphant final dance.

And there you have it! Every boss, every secret, every heart-pounding moment in Chapter 6 conquered. This journey through Mount Huaguo was less of a video game level and more of a pilgrimage, a final test of everything I'd learned. The scale was breathtaking, the bosses were unforgettable, and that final climb to face my own reflection... pure gaming magic. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear to go play with. Good luck, pilgrims! Your legend awaits. ✨
